Chart: If You Want More Abortions, Defund Planned Parenthood - GOOD
We made this chart back when Congress was debating whether to cut funding to Planned Parenthood. Now that Indiana has done just that at the state level, we figure it’s time to revisit this important point, even though the numbers above refer to federal programs.

I support Planned Parenthood more so than I support nearly any public services organization. I have never had an abortion … and that is due in large part to the amazing health and family planning services provided by PP. Because of PP I was able to obtain oral contraceptives when I was in high school (and living in a town where doctors were only writing scripts for married women … you know … because whatthefuckever), and I was able to continue to afford taking birth control in college because of their sliding fees (whew).
Mind you, had they not provided me this amazing service I WOULD HAVE TOTALLY HAD SEX ANYWAY BECAUSE I’M A HUMAN BEING AND I LIKE HAVING SEX AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE SEX.
Thank you, Planned Parenthood, for making it possible for me to have the life I choose and to never, ever, ever have to choose (even though I reserve the right to do so, I’m so happy I never had to).
